Which file are you downloading and what platform are you attempting to play it on? Also any more info like error messages or anything? All are working for me.
I can only offer Paypal on itch, but another option would be to sub my subscribestar (here) page for at least one month and you'll get access to all my games here on itch, and even a couple exclusive to supporters. Apologies for the inconvencience!

Seems I cannot download this. Always downloads and then says forbidden

Do you have a payment method other than PayPal. I am part of the millions currently boycotting them. A CC payment system would suffice
